CASIO G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-1000-1A3JF Review
CASIO G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-1000-1A3JF
Talking of fit and design, it includes a very nice strap made from resin which feels good on the hand that has a simple yet powerful connection with two lock pins along with different levels of relief, plus a large sturdy case also made from resin with a single big screw down crown on the proper and four additional buttons for actioning/calibrating different purposes and detectors. Everything is kept sturdily in place by four hexagonal shaped screws.

CASIO G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-1000-1A3JF ReviewNow the design is „badass" but how does the lighting operate? Quite simply, perfect. The rear panel and indicator palms are well ventilated and easy to read underwater, featuring four big hour signs and two enormous index hands with fluorescent paint that make the eye suitable for all sorts of tasks no matter how dark.

The Radio Wave Automatic Reception system updates itself around six times a day, except in the case of China. The digital compass indicates the direction employing the next index hand, more specifically the northwest, the Barometer includes a measuring power from 260 hectopascals (hPa) to 1100 hectopascals (hPa) and in addition, it features a barometric pressure tendency graph that can help you forecast the weather in some instances. When the barometric pressure graph indicates a drop of pressure from the future you can expect a rain shortly and when the fall is so significant you can actually expect for a critical storm. What a great detector to get at the wrist of your hands.

The altimeter has a measuring range of -2300 ft to 32800 ft (-700m to 10000m) and can maintain a record of the peaks set by you manually. Additionally, the thermometer has a measuring range of 14 F to 140 F (-10 C to 60 C); observe how large are the temperatures it could read? In 140 F you can't even endure yourself.

Is it cheap? Not really, actually, it's a bit pricey. Is it worthwhile? Certainly yes, and that I can't state this enough. I consider that even though you pay a more substantial price you receive a wristwatch that pays its worth in time unlike any other. And here I mean it will withstand for years without any intervention of changing one part or another, not even the battery. If you really care about quality this view is a must.

Features list

  • Countdown timer
  • 5 independent daily alarms
  • Triple sensor with barometer, altimeter, thermometer
  • LED backlight with afterglow
