Casio G-Shock GDF-100-1A Watch Review

Casio G-Shock GDF-100-1A Watch ReviewThe Casio G-Shock GDF100-1A is an entry level model in the G-Shock series that is Casio's well-appreciated line of tough watches made to stand all sorts of rough tests in the wild. Being moderately priced, this view does not really have an impressive collection of features but nevertheless, it does bring some adequate resources to the table and an intriguing look as well.

The plan and built quality are what you would expect from a G-Shock and the watch is quite big and bulky but despite that, I noticed it is also surprisingly light and comfortable. This might be subjective, for a skinny wrist that it might appear to occupy all of the available space. Overall the GDF100-1A does have an imposing design, the matte texture contrasting well with the red elements. The mineral crystal window is resistant with the screen showing easy to read digits and it's illuminated with an extremely crisp white light that covers the whole screen. In terms of durability, this G-shock appears to have the ability to stand well against extreme circumstances. Resistance to consequences is obviously one of the many reasons people pick a wristwatch from this collection but it's also appropriate for water sports since it can withstand water stress for up to 660 feet.

Casio G-Shock GDF-100-1A Watch Review 1

Take a peek at the performance of this model you can find a couple of things. It has two detectors, barometer/altimeter, and thermometer, which appear to be growing in the resin bezel of the watch. For those familiar with Casio systems you know what to expect concerning precision. The GDF100-1A doesn't offer breathtaking precision but when correctly calibrated it can provide you at least estimative values proving helpful when tracking the weather patterns or measuring the warmth. A world time manner using 31 time zones is present together with a stopwatch, timer, full auto calendar and five daily alarms. The basic functionality is so pretty much fully covered.

It may not be the most advanced G-Shock on the market but when you take under account the cost range to which this watch belongs I'd say it does more than a reasonable job. The looks and how big is likely not for everybody's taste but it's the sort of watch that stands out in the audience and some people may enjoy it that way. Overall, it's great value for your money with few pitfalls and a lot of advantages.

Casio G-shock Solid Colors DW-5600BB-1JF Japan Watch Review

Most G-Shock fans understand the DW 5600 really well. The version we are talking about in this review is the DW 5600BB that's different just by its coloring/design from the original version. As you might already know, Japanese versions of G-Shocks are always sort of bizarre, coming with all sorts of different colorings and variants regarding the design. People who need a drop of weirdness and unicity in their own watches always search for them and treat them as collection timepieces. Not to mention that these variations are kind of rare hence retaining value over the years quite well. The all-black layout isn't a joke; even the clasp that's made from metal has been painted to match the rest of the watch. The only thing colored differently is that the backlight that is light blue. Here is the sort of watch it is possible to set once and then never do it but nevertheless an extremely bugging thing about the watch is represented with the rigid buttons for configuratio...
